Silicone has a 500% higher shear strength than traditional plastisol, doesn't kink when bent or exposed to heat, and doesn't chemically react with anything in your tackle box
That means you can catch a dozen fish on it one trip without getting a single scratch on the bait, cram it into your tackle box or leave it in a hot car, and it will be good as new for your next trip!

Gobies don't have swim bladders, they have to stay on or near the bottom. That's where the Godzilla Goby is meant to be. Treat it like a tube or football jig: drag, hop, or deadstick it down where the big ones live.
It may be a treble hooked bait, but the 2 down points are protected from snags by the body, and the weight keeling and kickstand pec fins will keep the top point upright - away from snags. When the bait reaches a wedge point in the rocks, the wide, soft head and rear distributed weight will keep it from burying into the crevice. Lift the rod and apply pressure with the reel and the Godzilla squeeze it's way out of the snag and pop free - often triggering a strike from a following fish.

My staple finesse gobies and smelts are designed around being able to downsize lines/leaders for more bites in clear water without sacrificing hook penetration. They feature Owner 1X deep throat models that get excellent penetration down to 6# line, but are still stout enough to fish on up to 10# of drag. They can be thrown on typical bass casting gear with minimum 12# line, or 15# minimum for the 6" Godzilla jig.
If you want to lock your drag, crack hooksets, and wrestle fish to the boat, the BKK 2X series is the model you want. 12# leader or greater is recommended for 3" baits, 30#+ for the 6 Godzilla jig. The 2X is the right hook for the large majority of saltwater fish or large freshwater species like musky and lake trout
